When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash, never in plain text) — or, if you sign in with Google, your name, email, and profile picture from that account. Everything else — income, expenses, rent, budgets, savings goals, loans — is data you enter yourself to use the Service.
Your data is used to run the app for you: showing your dashboard, calculating summaries and analytics, and sending you notifications (in-app and, if enabled, by email) about things like upcoming payments or budget alerts. You can turn email and in-app notifications on or off at any time in Settings.
We don't sell, rent, or share your personal or financial data with third parties for marketing purposes. Your financial records stay private to your account.
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. Access to your account requires your credentials or Google sign-in; we recommend using a strong, unique password.
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can export a copy of your data at any time, or permanently delete it, from Settings → Data Management.
We use Google OAuth for optional sign-in and an email provider to deliver notification emails you've opted into. These providers only receive the minimum information needed to perform that function (e.g. your email address to send a notification).
You can access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time from within the app. If you need help with any of this, contact us using the details below.
If we make material changes to how we handle your data, we'll update this page and, where appropriate, notify you directly.
